 The basic information that we have is that we will visit Beijing prior to being united with our daughter.  We will fly to our daughter's province for Gotcha Day and then on to Guangzhou in Guangdong province where we will finalize our adoption at the U.S. Consulate and stay at the famous White Swan Hotel on Shamian Island.

The White Swan Hotel has become famous among the Chinese adoption community because so many families who are adopting stay there during the final phase of the process.  A group photo of the children in your travel group taken on the White Swan's red couch has become an adoption tradition.
